Our Funding Principles
Funding is critical for the sustainability, viability and growth of the Center for Unbiased Science & Health. Without revenue, our goals cannot be achieved. The funding principles below were developed and approved by our Board of Directors.
Mission Driven: We will seek funding from public and private sources that are aligned with our goals for specific campaigns.
Sustainability and Capacity-Building: We will prioritize initiatives that build long-term trust, strengthen health literacy, and leave lasting capacity in individuals and communities.
Neutrality and Independence: We will always retain editorial control over language to ensure any product or deliverable is evidenced based.
Transparency and Accountability: We commit to transparent funding processes and hold ourselves accountable for ethical stewardship and measurable impact.
Equity and Inclusion: We prioritize funding that meets people where they are; and reaches communities who are often excluded from mainstream health education due to cultural, geographic, or financial barriers.
We do not use funding to support or oppose political candidates: We will educate policymakers on specific health and science issues (vaccines, evidence-based research, etc.).
